After what seemed like weeks and weeks away , we were finally back in the kitchen!! This half term it’s the turn of Heigham Class to show off their culinary skills in the kitchen. Today we thought we would try something new and make minestrone soup. The children chopped, sliced and topped and tailed spring onions, tomatoes courgettes and green beans. Red kidney beans were added because we didn’t have any cannellini beans, hopefully no-one will taste the difference! None of us have been able to taste any today as it was still cooking after the children left but it will be frozen ready to be cooked for the end of half term forest schools bonfire.
