14th March

Stark class spent a chilly, but beautifully sunny afternoon pricking out; repotting the delicate vegetable plants individually so they have more room to grow before they get moved outside later this month.  Little fingers had to work very carefully so the baby plants were not damaged in the process. We marveled at the tiny roots and took great care not to knock the seed compost off.  This work was a first for children and staff alike so we hope the vegetables survive the transition.
