Making Shapes – Outdoor learning
Drake class ended an exciting morning for Year 3 by heading outside to create some 3D shapes using any materials they could find!
Look closely to see how they joined the shapes using mud, hand made string and superb balancing skills!!
This was how Mr Whalen described the amazing discovery pictured below. While we’ve been busy, this little bulb has been hard at work growing; feeling the temperature, counting the days, measuring the light, getting itself ready. Guerilla Gardening is underway!
Thanks everyone for a superb Reading Cafe this morning. The hall was packed creating a great atmosphere. The pictures say it all.
Check out our helpful hints for reading and a snippet of Memory Bottles!
