I’ve been waiting to post this! Taking advantage of the beautiful weather Stark class spent most of the day outside building their habitats for the Giving Nature a Home project. The children worked really well together in pairs and small teams to construct their chosen habitats. By the end of tomorrow they will all be in place and awaiting their new inhabitants! The next stage is to prepare information panels for each habitat informing people about what the habitat is and who will make a home there. Thanks to everyone who donated materials. Without your generosity the project could not have happened. We also tasted our fresh vegetables, sampling spinach and radishes washed straight out of the ground. Yum!
