It has been a very busy day here at Holt Hall with the children taking part in a number of activities.
Land Art
Inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy, the children collected items from around the grounds of Holt Hall to create ‘Land Art’. We were lucky enough to be visited by HRH the Duke of Kent. Aleisha and Freya L represented the school brilliantly by explaining their work to him.
Survival
The children learned how to gut and cook sardines and cook apples all around a camp fire that they had built themselves.
Den Building
Through fantastic team work, the children built some amazing dens using logs and branches they found around the grounds.
Rocky Shore
The second group visited the beautiful West Runton beach today to explore the rock pools and learn about how creatures are adapted to their environment.
