Children’s University Graduation Day!

We were thrilled that 9 of our Children’s University passport holders were invited to attend a graduation ceremony at Carrow Road [home of Norwich City Football Club!] this morning.

Once they had put on their super smart graduation outfits [their caps and gowns] they were then treated to a special foresnic science session.  As soon as this was finished they were whisked away to the ceremony itself, where they were presented with special certificates for completing over 30 hours of learning outside of school.  Amazing!

Well done Pippa, Jem, Ella, Jack, Lani, Chloe, Billy, Eva and Malachi- we’re all extremely proud of you!

Wensum pupils at Children’s University graduation!

We’re really proud of Jack, Eva, Ellie, Billy and Pippa who took part in their first ever Children’s University Graduation ceremony this morning.

Not put off by the soggy weather, we all arrived at the Millenium Library at 10am.  First we were treated to a Mad Science show- Pippa was brave enough to have static electricity passed through her body twice!  Once the show was finished, our 5 graduates put on their caps and gowns and took part in a certificate giving ceremony.  We then finished with a celebratory hat throwing!

Well done to you all for being Wensum Junior’s first graduates. We’re sure that we will have lots more when we are ready to graduate in the Autumn  term.

We would like to say a big thank you who donated to the Norwich Food Bank. We were overwhelmed by your generosity and that has now been delivered to them. They say a big thank you to all of Wensum Family! We collected approximately 240 items including tins, biscuits and tea bags.

Merry Christmas from Mrs May and Mrs Vallis!
