Every Friday afternoon our children have an hour of enrichment activities. This is an opportunity for staff and children to work together in a different context, developing a broader range of skills through a diverse range of activities. At the start of each year staff prepare an enrichment offer from which the children choose. The offer changes at three points during the year when staff can offer something different and children have the opportunity to change their choice.
For the first time this year we have invited ‘expert parents’ in to complement the programme. Steve Roberts is leading the Raspberry Pioneers, our pilot coding group, and Emma Nuule, professional cross-over singer, is leading the new performing arts offer with Mrs Richardson.
Previous activities have included: digital photography, cooking, cricket, weaving, multi-sports and archery.
