Pokemon is our alternative provision.   It provides a bespoke, Thrive-infused curriculum for a small group of children who would find the mainstream experience challenging.  It is our intention that children will transition back into their parent class when they are ready to do so.  Where this is not possible, we work with families and external agencies to secure suitable provision in another setting.  The class is led by Nic Denney who is ably supported by Sasha Slater.

Pokemon class follow the rhythms of the Wensum school year, pursuing work aligned with our REAL curriculum.  This, however, is just part of the bespoke provision which is skilfully planned to build confidence and competence with reading, writing, maths, oracy and a range of social and emotional skills.  If you would like to discuss this further then please arrange a time to speak with Nic via the school office.
