Monday 4th June – behind the scenes with the Circus 250 elephants

If you have not already seen it, take a look at this article which provides a behind the scenes look at the life-size elephant puppets being built for the Circus 250 parade.  The work is being led by Ali MacKenzie from Norwich-based community arts organisation Tin House, who worked with Wensum last year on our first Working as Artists project.

We now have over 90 children signed up to take part in the parade.  On Saturday 23rd June from 10 – 4 we will be hosting a mas camp at school to finish the costumes.  If your child is involved in the parade then please bring them along for some or all of the day. Family and friends most welcome as it is a community event as we move towards final preparations for the parade on the 7th July.
