On Monday the 28th, 17 Year 6 children were invited to walk to the St Peter Mancroft church to find out more about the Holocaust Memorial day. We were welcomed by Dr Fiona Haworth and also met Rabbi Roderick- he read some hymns in Jewish for us which were later translated into English. We also met Marie-Lyse Numuuhoza to talk to us about her life story, because she was involved in the genocides in Rwanda in 1994.It was a lovely service and some of us even got to light candles to remember all of those effected by holocausts and genocides around the world.
