On Tuesday, Year 5 and half of Maple Class traveled to Leicester to visit the National Space Centre. This was to support their Working as Scientists project on Earth and space. They explored the interactive galleries to learn about the history of space exploration, and they got an opportunity to see up close the rockets, engines and space capsules used over the decades as mankind explored space. In the afternoon they visited the planetarium to watch a 360 film about being an astronaut. It was a long day, but well worth it. Please enjoy the gallery.
