24th March

Empty Classroom Day#4:  There is a science focus to our 4th ECD.  Following the habitat work from yesterday’s RSPB morning, Stark class try to build nests using only a clothes peg (which operates like a beak!), and Drake class investigate whether or not size does matter when it comes to building paper aeroplanes.

In the afternoon Stark go out and finish off one of the square foot gardening beds, dividing it up into 9 squares. We’ll be ready to plant when we return for the summer term.
