WW1 Memorial Visit 17/5/2016

Today we had our 3rd day with historian Neil Storey. We all walked to Earlham cemetery to visit the world war 1 memorials and placed poppies on the graves of soldiers. We were really proud of how respectful the children were throughout our time at Earlham Cemetery. The children then came back to school and learnt about life in the trenches, and sharing. The children even got to sample some chocolate that needed to be shared equally between the troops. We also learnt about the local war hospitals.
