Friday 25th May – Turner class enjoy their final gardening session

The weather forecast promised thunderstorms, but we were spared. Instead the sun came out and we enjoyed a final session together in the garden.  We topped up the keyhole garden – the soil had settled over the week leaving sunken areas that needed filling – and planted sweet peas and tomato plants. We also harvested the remaining peas, carrots, beetroot, and trimmed back the rocket and mizuna.  In the afternoon we prepared the veg for sale after school.  A huge thank you to Turner class for all your hard work, interest and enthusiasm this half term.
