Turner Class cooking Friday 13th July

This week in Turner Class we went back to basics and made buns! Using eggs from our school hens the children weighed out ingredients, creamed them together and without licking their fingers managed to spoon the mixture into the bun cases. The result? lovely baked buns to chomp on after school!!

Family Fun Day Preparations

This week Nick Sanderson from the Broads Authority visited Year 4 in preparation for our Family Fun Day next week.

The whole of Year 4 split into 5 groups in readiness for taking part in Geo caching, pond dipping, arts and crafts and rounders, which are some of the activities we want to run next week.

Nick got everyone  Geo Caching (digital orienteering) , Mr Wild helped the children make butterflies and dragonflies, Mrs Hornsby got the groups pond dipping and Miss Fiddament got the children active playing rounders.

Hopefully now the children have done this they will be well prepared to teach all the families these activities themselves..

Sunny July evenings at Afterschool Club

This week we have been enjoying the sunshine! We have been on the field snuggling guinea pigs and chickens, playing games of tennis, football and reading lots of stories. We have been taking full advantage of the lovely weather and have been having picnics on the field and playing in the tree circle.

Please remember to pack your child a sun hat, sun cream and a water bottle so that they stay safe in the heat!

Afterschool club 12/06/17

We wanted to share some photographs of our time at after-school club, so far a few of the things we have enjoyed doing are holding chicks, baking, and spending sunny afternoons playing outside.
